2015 Trend Spotlight: Marsala
It’s no secret that Pantone has named Marsala the color of the year for 2015. Marsala is another one of those colors, much like last week’s copper spotlight, that can easily be paired with a variety of other colors. We have seen it paired with blushes, blues, greens, and many more.

2015 Trend Spotlight: Copper
Hey y’all! My name is Megan and I’ll be doing a weekly blog post on 2015’s top event trends. So to start it out, let’s talk about copper.
We are absolutely loving this year’s trend of adding copper into your event. One of the great things about copper is that it easily pairs with a ton of other colors- from reds to blues to greens, you can’t go wrong. Adding copper to your color scheme is sure fire way to add a metallic pop to your event!

White and Gold Allan House Wedding
The Allan House was the perfect venue for this white and gold wedding reception! The white just makes that gold pop! I love the way gold was used in this reception – gold sequin runners, chargers, and candelabras are a perfect way to bring gold into the mix. Using different chargers and accenting your head table with a runner adds that extra little something to make your head table stand out. Premiere Consultants to Receive CERP Designation
After months of hard work, Premiere Events’ Rental Consultants Abigail Turner and Alison Herschap have earned their Certified Event Rental Professional status. The two will receive their diplomas at the American Rental Association’s Rental Show this February in New Orleans, La.

Steampunk Themed Holiday Party
It’s the holiday season, and with that comes the annual corporate holiday party. I must say, I’ve seen a lot of creative themes this year. Straying from the traditional, this company chose a Steampunk/American Horror Story: Freak Show theme, and they went all out. There were carnival games, card games, palm readers – there was even a man pouring wine from a bike he was riding around! Premiere was chosen to be a part of the vendor team, providing draping, furniture and other decor items needed to make this event a success while truly carrying out the theme. Lisa Hause of Waterloo Studio provided these wonderful decor shots – I hope they provide inspiration for your next Steampunk themed event! Happy Holidays!!

Royal Fig’s Fall Fete at the Allan House

It may almost be “winter” in Austin, but let’s backtrack a bit to those beautiful fall colors for a few minutes. At end of last month, Royal Fig introduced their new limited service menu by throwing a Fall Fete! Not only was it fun to support Royal Fig, but canned goods were also collected for the Capital Area Food Bank. Premiere Events helped with linens and catering related needs. Congregation Agudas Achim Centennial Gala
Earlier this November, Premiere Events had the opportunity to be a part of the Congregation Agudas Achim Centennial Gala planned by Michele Schwartz of The Modern Jewish Wedding. The 500 person gala was set to take place inside the gym on the Dell Jewish Community Campus. With the goal of transforming the space in mind, the idea of putting a tent inside a gym was born! Congratulations to CAA on their milestone celebration, and thank you Jerry Hayes for capturing it all for us!

Oh how we love a Wildflower Center wedding! Not only is the Wildflower Center an Austin staple, but it’s just around the corner from our South store location!
